Supervisors Nevalainen and Stegmeir attended the April Cook Hospital Board meeting. Township concerns were relayed to the Hospital Board Update: Hospital administrator communicated with Supervisor Nevalainen that the township is entitled to a seat on the Hospital Board. |

Kabetogama Township Board appoints Supervisor Stegmeir to be the township representative on the Cook-Orr Health Care District Board. |

County Commissioner Rukavina attended the Township board meeting to hear the community's concerns. (Representative Dill and Senator Bakk were also invited but could not attend.) Commissioner Rukavina was supportive of our concerns and said he would write letters to our legislators urging their help as we pursue resolution to this issue. Update: No letter was written. Rep. Dill passed away in July. The Township Board will bring the matter up with Commissioner Rukavina again after a new representative is elected in December. |
