2023 Spring Flood Outlook information
Spring Flood Outlook for Rainy River Basin from NOAA/NWS Duluth - March 9, 2023
The potential for spring flooding across the Northland is above normal, but for the Rainy River Basin the risk appears to be not as great as it was last year. Still, the risk for flooding in the Rainy basin is above normal. Spring flooding is highly dependent on our weather pattern in the coming 6-8 weeks. A dry pattern could lead to less flooding, while a wet pattern could push the risk for flooding higher.
