Paul Kiner called meeting to order.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Allen Burchell, seconded by Phil Hart. Present were Allen Burchell, Phil Hart, Bob Nevalainen and Paul Kiner.
Reports from committees were tabled until next meeting and Andy Hubley, from the ARDC was given the floor. He wanted to get to know the board members better so we introduced ourselves and described our backgrounds.
The comprehensive plan progress was discussed. Plan items were identified and their content discussed.
A public meeting is planned to introduce the plan’s content and direction to the area people on July 24th at 7:00 pm.
The meeting agenda will be published and the focus will be on information sharing and gathering. Public input will greatly encouraged.
All of the planning board members will be asked to be available to listen and document the public input.
The next planning meeting will be July 10th and all members are urged to attend to help plan the public meeting.
