Old Business –
PPSSD – Supervisor L. Warrington talked to Tim Henrickson and Lucas from Septic Check. The tanks were pumped, Tim H. will clean the main tank and push the solids to the second tank as much as he can. When he has completed this the tanks should be good until summer. Supervisor L. Warrington will check with North Star Electric regarding the power box, it got bumped, there appears to be no damage.
Community Sewer Project – John Stegmeir gave an update on the project. The land that was tested for the treatment site doesn’t have as much rock as anticipated. The response from the letters that were sent out have been positive. SEH is working on what type of treatment site is needed. Ash River did not get a grant from the state last session. They are applying for a federal grant, 7 million. Work needs to start on future grants for the north end of the lake. A letter will be sent out in March to the sewer district members.
Roads – Supervisor L. Kec will speak with G. House regarding his work for the township and his contract.
Community Center – Nothing new.
Other –
New Business – Brent Olson asked about getting a ball field across from the Town Hall. There may be grants available, he needs to speak with the Community Club as they own that land.
Supervisor L. Warrington made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Supervisor T. Tomczak, all voting aye motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
Respectfully submitted, Betsey Warrington, Deputy Clerk
