Chairman Tomczak opened the meeting at 7:00 pm. Board members present were Supervisors Stegmeir and Kec, Clerk Manninen and Treasurer Callais. All attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Agenda – The agenda was reviewed, Supervisor Kec moved to approve the agenda. Seconded by Supervisor Stegmeir, all voting aye the motion carried,
Minutes – The minutes for the October regular meeting were reviewed. Motion by Supervisor Kec to approve the minutes, seconded by Supervisor Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report was read by Treasurer Callais.

Supervisor Kec moved to accept the claims and pay them in full, seconded by Supervisor Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.

Old Business –
PPSSD - Supervisor Stegmeir gave a financial statement for this year and projected costs for next year. The EDU’s are down because one resort disconnected a single cabin that is no longer in use. Supervisor Stegmeir gave a payment calculation for 2019 and a total levy amount of $76,524.47 which will be put on the agenda for board approval at the December meeting. A full time EDU increases 13% and the Seasonal EDU increases 11%. Supervisor Stegmeir asked that the board approve an adjustment of $6,000 for the PPSSD levy to cover extra costs that were incurred in 2018 above the levy amount that was charged to the PPSSD members previously. Supervisor Kec moved to approve the increase to the PPSSD levy in the amount of $6,000, seconded by Chairmen Tomczak, all voting aye, motion carried. The air conditioner has finally been installed in the building at PPSSD but they are waiting now for an electrician to come and hook it up.
Roads & Trails – Renewal of contract with G. House
Community Building/Town Hall – Chairman Tomczak has not heard back from Kolstad/Olson regarding the issue with sand in the water softener. Chairman Tomczak spoke with Lee Herserth regarding electrical outlets issue during the Hunters Supper. The Hunters Supper went very well this year.

NEW BUSINESS – Supervisor Stegmeir gave an overview of the Kabetogama Clean Water Initiative Steering Committee meetings. Two meetings were held in October on the 3rd and the 24th. These meetings were to develop a mission statement and organize how they wanted to proceed with this process. Supervisor Stegmeir would like the township board to approve the mission statement. Once this is done the statement will be posted thru a link to the township web site. Supervisor Kec moved to approve the Mission Statement of the Kabetogama Clean Water Initiative Steering Committee, seconded by Chairman Tomczak, all voting aye motion carried. The minutes of these meetings are posted on the website. The next meeting will be in December where the committee will pose questions to Mia Thibodeau from the Fryberger Law Firm who will join the meeting via conference phone call. She will give basic information, strategies as to how to form a sewer district.
