REGULAR MEETING
MAY 7, 2013
Chairman Nevalainen opened the meeting at 7:15 pm. Board members present were Supervisor Town, Supervisor Kiner and Clerk Manninen, along with 1 guest. Treasurer Kiner was not in attendance. All attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Agenda – The agenda was approved with the addition of gravel at the canister site to old business and Fire Dept. and G. House contracts to New Business on a motion by Supervisor Kiner, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
Minutes – The minutes were approved on a motion by Chairman Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
The treasurer’s report was reviewed by all. The treasurer’s report was approved on a motion by Chairman Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.

PPSSD – Nothing new at this time.
JPBCWVNP – Nothing new at this time.
Roads & Trails – Chairman Nevalainen will speak with the county to set up a road review in the near future.
Community Center Planning – Chairman Nevalainen will work up a bid package to be put into the news paper for the slab at the community hall site. The other supervisors will review this before being posted. We hope to get this in the paper by the 15th of this month and have them returned to us by the 28th. We would also like to get three loads of gravel to the pad site.
Supervisor Town indicated the need for gravel at the canister site. He has spoken to the county worker there and asked that this be done. The township will have gravel hauled to the debris site also. Supervisor Town made a motion to have three loads of gravel hauled to the canister site debris area and also three loads of gravel hauled to the pad site at the Community Hall, motion seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
New Business –
Fire Department Contract – Chairman Nevalainen moved to proceed with the 2013 contract between the Kabetogama Volunteer Fire Department and the Kabetogama Township for fire protection, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
Greg House Contract – upon approvel of Greg House, the Kabetogama Township will enter into a contract with him for the 2013 summer and fall season, motion by Supervisor Kiner, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
Supervisor Kiner moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:18 pm, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
