Old Business:
PPSSD - Mary & Hudson Nichols called in on the conference line. Collin did a site visit with Dan and John and reported that the project is in better shape than he expected. All of the underground work is done with the exception of a couple of hookups one being VPL and the other is Burchells. A tank replacement needed to be done at Moosehorn Lodge. Some Grinder pumps still need to be installed and hooked up to electricity. It should be operational by the middle of April. The site has dried out fairly well but still looking muddy, landscaping needs to be completed, roads restoration etc. Place top soil and grass established. Hopefully by June things will be back to normal in the area. Collin messaged the contractor regarding the pretreatment side but had not gotten a response as of this meeting. Collin estimates that the pretreatment and dispersal will hopefully start up by May.
Roads & Trails – State Point Road in very good shape from the winter. John is looking for a culvert for the PPSSD road.
Community Building – Nothing new.
New Business – Liquor license renewal for local resorts – Arrowhead Lodge. Pines of Kabetogama, Border Guide Service Base Camp, Kecs Kove, Pine Aire, The Rocky Ledge and Sandy Point Resort. All have been approved on a motion by Supervisor Tomczak, seconded by Chairman Stegmeir, all voting aye, motion carried.
