REORGANIZATION MEETING
APRIL 5, 2011

Chairman Nevalainen opened the meeting at 9:12 p. Board members present were Supervisors Town and Kiner, Clerk Manninen, Deputy Clerk Tomczak and Treasurer Kiner along with one guest.
The Agenda was presented and accepted with three additions, emergency contractor, Engineer and Attorney on a motion by Supervisor Kiner, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
The minutes from the April 6, 2010 meeting were reviewed by all and approved on a motion by Chairman Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
Chairman, Vice-Chairman – Supervisor Kiner moved to keep Robert Nevalainen as Chairman and Edward Town and Vice-Chairman, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
Board 2011 Meeting Schedule & location – Chairman Nevalainen moved to accept the following board meeting schedule and location as follows; 1/4, 2/1, 3/1, 4/5, 5/3, 6/7, 7/5, 8/2, 9/6, 10/4, 11/2, 12/6/2011 all to be held at the Kabetogama Fire Hall, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
Planning Board 2011 Meeting Schedule and location – 1/4, 4/4, 6/7, 10/3/2011, location Kabetogama Fire Hall. These dates were approved on a motion by Supervisor Town, seconded by Chairman Nevalainen, motion carried.
Township Attorney – Chairman Nevalainen moved to accept Robert Ruppe as our township attorney, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
Official Newspaper – Supervisor Town moved to accept the Journal as our designated newspaper, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
Road Supervisor – Supervisor Kiner moved to keep Edward Town as road supervisor, seconded by Chairman Nevalainen, motion carried.
Posting Places – Web site, Board by Community Hall, Gateway Store, these were all approved on a motion by Chairman Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
Trail and Emergency contract – Chairman Nevalainen moved to keep G. House as the person who mows the trails and can clean up after wind storms, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
Financial Institutions – Supervisor Kiner moved to continue using Border State Bank and Bremer Bank as our financial institutions, seconded by Chairman Nevalainen, motion carried.
Township Engineer – Supervisor Kiner moved to use SEH as the township engineer, seconded by Chairman Nevalainen, motion carried.
Compensation –
Township Board members - $18.00/hr compensation for Township work that takes them away from their regular job.
Election Judge - $12.00/hr.
Mileage rate – follow current Federal Mileage rate at that time.
These rates were approved on a motion by Chairman Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Town, motion carried.
Supervisor Town moved to adjourn at 9:27 pm, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
