Chairman L Kec opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Board members present were Supervisor B Master, Supervisor J Stegmeir, Treasurer D. Callais and Clerk M Manninen. All attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Agenda – The agenda was reviewed, Supervisor J Stegmeir moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Supervisor B Master, all voting aye the motion carried.
Minutes – The minutes for the November regular meeting were reviewed. Supervisor B Master moved to approve the minutes, second by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.
Treasurer D Callais read her report.

The Treasurer’s report was reviewed, the report was approved on a motion by Supervisor J Stegmeir, seconded by Supervisor B Master, all voting aye motion carried.

Township Claims
Total - $6,165.71
PPSSD Claims
Total – $2,914.00
Supervisor B Master moved to accept the claims and pay them in full, seconded by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.
Public Comment – None
Old Business –
PPSSD – The Special Tax breakdown for members of the Pucks Point Sewer District have been sent to the St. Louis County, members will receive their individual breakdowns in the beginning of January. The system will be shut down for the winter season soon.
Community Sewer Project – Supervisor J. Stegmeir spoke with Matric Soils & Systems regarding the soil testing on the Houser property. The test so far is not showing very good news for using this land for the sewer system. More information will be available at the January meeting. Supervisor J Stegmeir suggest that we continue with SEH and get a facility plan set as we will need one in the future.
Roads – Nothing new.
Community Center – Viitas did install the new alarm system for the septic tanks. The children’s Christmas party went very well, thank you to Deana Callais for putting this all together.
Other – Clerk M Manninen contacted St. Louis County regarding the township signing off on a tobacco license. It is not necessary for township approval.
New Business – Supervisor B Master made a motion to approve the resolution 2021-01, Resolution Designating Annual Polling Place, seconded by Chairman L Kec, all voting aye, motion carried.
Supervisor J Stegmeir moved to approve the contract with G House for plowing at PPSSD, debris removal from storms, mowing the Arrowhead Trail, seconded by Supervisor B Master, all voting aye, motion carried.
Supervisor J Stegmeir made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Supervisor B. Master, all voting aye motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
