Public Comment – None
Old Business –
PPSSD – Nothing new at this time.
Community Sewer Project – Supervisor J Stegmeir discussed with the board the information he received from Attorney Mia Thibideau and MATIT Attorney Steve Fenske regarding the process of the referendum question. A person with more than one parcel does not get more than one vote. Properties with joint owners would most likely need to have all of them sign for a vote. We can look into using an absentee ballot application. There is a meeting with the committee on December 18th and this will be discussed further. The township office will certainly be open for the election when we decide on a date. Supervisor J Stegmeir will send a letter out by the end of the year explaining how we plan on proceeding with this special election. Supervisor Stegmeir will do further research on this matter. It was suggested that we use May 12th as a tentative election date.
Roads – Property owners were notified of debris that was strewn about when their building was demolished. They stated that they did some clean up after the fact.
Community Center – Nothing new at this time.
New Business – Supervisor J Stegmeir wrote a letter for Voyageur Park Lodge stating that the township board has no issued regarding rebuilding the lodge. The board has approved this letter.
Supervisor M Tomczak made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Supervisor J Stegmeir seconded, all voting aye motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 7:49 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Mary Manninen, Clerk
