The county has set up dates for this removal and the township is getting volunteers to help get the bags out to the end of the driveway for the county to pick them up.
Old Business –
PPSSD – Supervisor J. Stegmeir reported that things are going good for now. There was one issue at Grandview resort, and it was taken care of.
Community Sewer Project – SEH ‘s work effort during June has been to develop a comprehensive database using contact information provided by the sewer board and from St. Louis County. Aerial photos of each property were prepared and will be sent to property owners with a questionnaire requesting that they mark the location of their well, septic tank and drain field or mound system and any other relevant information. The questionnaire will also ask for information regarding the existing dwellings as well as any plans for future new construction or remodeling. We will be providing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to make this process as easy as possible for the property owners. This information will be used to generate design flows for the collection and treatment systems. We hope to send out these questionnaires in the next week or so.
Roads – State Point Road will need work done on it. We may use some of our sand and class 5 on it.
Community Center – The Town Hall was control center for the 2022 flood.
Other – Supervisor B. Master informed the board that the county will come up here and look at the crossing we are concerned about and decide if they think it is necessary to install a sign.
