Chairman L Kec opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Board members present were Supervisors M Tomczak, J Stegmeir along with Treasurer D. Callais and Clerk M Manninen. All attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Agenda – The agenda was reviewed, Supervisor M Tomczak moved to approve the agenda with the addition of Canister Site and CARES App to New Business, seconded by Chairman L Kec, all voting aye the motion carried.
Minutes – The minutes for the May regular meeting were reviewed. Supervisor M Tomczak moved to approve the minutes, second by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.
Treasurer Deana Callais read Treasurer’s report.

The Treasurer’s report was reviewed, the report was approved on a motion by Supervisor J Stegmeir, seconded by Supervisor M Tomczak, all voting aye motion carried.
Claims – Clerk M Manninen read the list of claims.

Total – $1,851.00
Supervisor M Tomczak moved to accept the claims and pay them in full, seconded by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.
Public Comment – None
Old Business –
PPSSD – The lid to the grinder at VPL was broken during the new construction of their lodge. The tank had to be pumped. Supervisor Stegmeir will speak to them regarding payment for the pumping.
Community Sewer Project – Here are the special election results; total yes votes 30, total no votes 14, spoiled votes 3 and 6 persons did not vote at all. With the majority of yes votes the Subordinate Service District for Area C, State Point and White Pine Shores has been established. Nothing will be going on this summer due to the COVID Virus.
Roads – The township roads need blading at this time. Supervisor Stegmeir suggested that some work be done on Pucks Point Road. This road needs gravel and a new culvert. This work should be done after Labor Day. Supervisor Stegmeir will send out bids with the boards approval in August.
Community Center – Supervisor Tomczak will review with B. Warrington regarding how much to charge for use of the Town Hall. Marlene Tomczak and Mary Tomczak will be holding a garage sale late in June at the Town Hall. Social distancing will be adhered to.
Other – Clerk Manninen obtained a conference number that can be used during meetings. More information on this will be given out at the next meeting.
New Business –
Supervisor Stegmeir will speak with Greg House about pushing the brush up at the Kabetogama canister site. People have been piling their debris on the other side of the road across from the original pile and this all needs to be piled together.
Clerk Manninen will send information to the Lake Association regarding the CARES ACT. This is a block grant thru St. Louis County that businesses can apply for, for relief and aid from the Coronavirus shutdown.
Supervisor J Stegmeir made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Chairman L Kec seconded, all voting aye motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
