Vice Chairman J Stegmeir opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Board members present were Supervisor B Master, Treasurer D. Callais, Deputy Clerk B Warrington and Deputy Treasurer M Tomczak. Chairman L Kec was unable to attend this meeting. All attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Agenda – The agenda was reviewed, Supervisor B Master moved to approve the agenda with the addition of Canister Site and Grant to New Business, seconded by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye the motion carried.
Minutes – The minutes for the September regular meeting were reviewed. Supervisor B Master moved to approve the minutes, second by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.

The Treasurer’s report was reviewed, the report was approved on a motion by Supervisor B Master, seconded by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.
Claims – Deputy Clerk B Warrington read the list of claims.

Total – $6,192.83
Supervisor B Master moved to accept the claims and pay them in full, seconded by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried.
Public Comment – None
Old Business –
PPSSD – No updates. One outage was fixed at Moosehorn, a grinder needed to be replaced.
Community Sewer Project – A Joint Powers Board meeting was held on September 22. There were 24 plus in attendance. Four people from the Clean Water Project. There was good presentation from our area. Some attendees took a boat tour on Kabetogama lake, after the board ride 5 attendees toured the Pucks Point Project. Someone suggested installing solar panels, the board will investigate this. State Point residents attending this meeting had very good questions.
Field work was done for the soil testing we should see results in 1 to 2 weeks.
Supervisor J Stegmeir contacted an attorney regarding the proper procedure in obtaining this property for the new sewer project. He did find out that we cannot do a bank loan.
Roads – State Point was graded.
Community Center – The new tables are now in the hall. The float in the septic tank is still somewhat stuck.
Other – Supervisor J Stegmeir moved to approve the increase in Matthew Tomczak’s hourly rate for mowing and weed whipping at the Pucks Point Sewer site. This increase is to $85.00 per hour. Seconded by Supervisor B Master, all voting aye, motion carried.
New Business – Supervisor J Stegmeir would like the township to follow the CDC guidelines regarding out township meetings. He proposes that we hold our meetings in the large hall and wear masks, one voted aye and one voted nay. This will be brought up again at the November meeting when we will have full board in attendance.
Canister Site – Garbage has been dumped into the recycle bins. If this continues the recycle bins will be put inside the fence.
The grant was submitted to the IRRRB for the wayside project.
Supervisor B Master made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Supervisor J Stegmeir, all voting aye motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
