REORGANIZATION MEETING
April 1, 2014

Chairman Robert Nevalainen opened the meeting at 8:41 pm. Board members present were Supervisor Kiner, Clerk Manninen, Deputy Clerk Tomczak and Treasurer Kiner.
The Agenda was presented and approved on a motion by Supervisor, Kiner seconded by Supervisor Nevalainen, motion carried.
The minutes from the April 2, 2013 reorganization meeting were read and approved on a motion by Supervisor Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
The following items were read through and approved on a motion by Supervisor Kiner, seconded by Supervisor Nevalainen, all approved, motions carried
Chairman, Vice-Chairman – Robert Nevalainen will remain the Chairman and Paul Kiner will remain the Vice-Chairman.
Board Meeting Schedule and Location– for the 2013 township board meetings; 1/7, 2/4, 3/4, 4/1, 5/6, 6/3, 7/1, 8/5, 9/2, 10/7, 11/3, 122/2014 and the meetings will all be held at the Kabetogama Fire Hall unless otherwise posted.
Planning Commission Meeting Schedule and Location – quarterly schedule 1/6, 3/31, 6/30, 09/29/2014 all to be held at the Kabetogama Fire Hall unless otherwise posted.
Township Attorney – continue using Mr. Robert Ruppe as our Township Attorney.
Official Newspaper – keep The Journal as our official newspaper.
Road Supervisor – Supervisor Kiner as road Supervisor.
Meeting Notice Posting Place – keep the posting places at Gateway Store and the billboard sign across from the Kabetogama Community Hall and the Township Web Site.
Emergency trail and clean-up contractor – keep Greg House as the emergency contractor.
Bank Designation – use Bremer Bank and Border State Bank as our Financial Institutions.
Township Engineer – continue using SEH as the township Engineer.
Compensation –
Chairman - $18.00/hr
Supervisors – $350.00 Salary per month
Treasurer – $350.00 Salary per month
Deputy Treasurer – ($100.00 per meeting when filling in for Treasurer only)
Clerk – $18.00/hr
Deputy Clerk – ($100.00 per meeting when filling in for Clerk only)
Planning Commission Board Members – ($50.00 per meeting attended)
Election Judge – ($12.00/hr)
Mileage Rate – follow current Federal Mileage Rate at that time.
Supervisor Kiner moved to adjourn this meeting at 9:17 pm, seconded by Supervisor Nevalainen, motion carried
