Chairman Nevalainen opened the meeting at 7:00 pm. Board members present were Supervisor Kiner, Supervisor Stegmeir, Clerk Manninen, Treasurer Kiner and Deputy Clerk Tomczak, along with 8 guests, all attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance. No one called in on the conference line to this meeting.
Agenda – The agenda was approved with the addition of short courses and tax issues to new business on a motion by Chairman Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Stegmeir, motion carried.
Minutes –The minutes were approved with corrections on a motion by Chairman Nevalainen, seconded by Supervisor Kiner, motion carried.
The treasurer’s report was reviewed by all. The treasurer’s report was approved on a motion by Supervisor Kiner, seconded by Supervisor Stegmeir, motion carried.

Old Business –
PPSSD – Bids will be opened on March 11, 2015. Nothing new at this time.
Roads & Trails – nothing new at this time.
Community Center Planning – researching letter font and style for a Town Hall sign. The Community Club paid Dave Cook for his work on the siding. Rock for the lower portion of the building will be ordered soon and will be installed free of charge.
New Business –
Spring Short Courses – The MN Association of Townships will be holding Spring Short Courses for new and old board members of townships, the closest one is in Grand Rapids on April 2, 2015. The board members plan to attend this training. Clerk Manninen will not be able to attend at this time. The MN Dept of Revenue along with SLC will be holding internet training for the Local Board of Equalization this year. All supervisors are encouraged to take this training. Once our supervisors have taken this course we will hold the Local Board of Equalization here at Kabetogama Town Hall in 2016.
Tax Issues: residents from the area asked questions regarding tax lines on their property tax statements. The Supervisors did not have specific answers at this time but said they would research this and report back at the next meeting.
Supervisor Kiner moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:16 pm, seconded by Supervisor Stegmeir, motion carried.
